with Beth and Mark Leyba
Some past and present clients.
OUR BACKGROUND WITH THE ENNEAGRAM
Mark Leyba first became interested in the Enneagram back in 2003 and has been using it professionally since around 2009. He is semi-retired and works part time as a Leadership and Organizational Readiness Consultant for the Colorado Department of Human Services. Prior to that he worked for Jefferson County for 12 years in various roles, the last being the manager of their Leadership Academy which ran from 2017 through 2020. The Enneagram was a core component of the program, and nearly everyone said that the Enneagram was a life changing experience for them. Mark is a certified Enneagram trainer and coach, having numerous Enneagram certifications.
Beth Leyba first became interested in the Enneagram when Mark brought it into their family through both his personal and professional work and has been using it for over 20 years personally, professionally, and as a parent. She became certified as an Enneagram Coach with Aephoria Partners in 2023. Beth wears a lot of hats and is also engaged in death work, offering consultations on home funerals, assistance with pre-planning of the ceremonial and ritual aspects of death and memorial services, as well as assistance with crafting eulogies and obituaries and hosting a monthly Death Café. She has also worked for many years as the volunteer coordinator for One Billion Rising Denver, part of a global movement to end gender-based violence.
Both Beth and Mark were born and raised in Denver's Northside, with deep roots in southern Colorado and northern New Mexico. We are proud to be an intergenerational Chicanx team supporting our communities.

Workshop Feedback
-
Understanding my Enneagram type provides valuable insight into how I lead, communicate, and respond under stress. I plan to use this awareness to build a more emotionally intelligent and self-aware leadership approach, recognizing both my natural strengths and my blind spots.

Oh man, I really loved this session. I’ve been through so many Enneagram workshops before, and most of them felt irrelevant, impossible to connect with, super white, and just… wrong. This one was different. It felt grounded, real, and aligned with how I actually see myself and my leadership. I’m planning to get certified and offer the workshop to others—I think it can be such a powerful tool. Even inside my own nonprofit, I’ve already started sitting with a lot of the growth questions from the session and weaving them into how I lead. Top notch experience, truly.

Just having an increased self awareness of my tendencies and how I may present to others is huge in relation to my leadership development. Also knowing that when I am making a decision or encounter a challenge, there are ways for me to perceive or approach a situation differently based on the other numbers related to my number.
