Unsent Show: Death Edition
Join us for a special night of intimate, joyful and cathartic storytelling as ten brave souls get on the mic to share messages they wrote but never sent, all about Death.
This Unsent is extra special, y'all, so grab your friends, family and community members for a cathartic night of confessional storytelling, laughter, tears and all the feels.
Special thanks to our Official Sponsors: Blue World Yoga, LLC and On The Move With Bri for making this show possible.
Schedule:
6pm: Doors Open - Contribute to the community altar (see FAQS for altar instructions), get your drinks from the full bar, delicious food by Tacotente & Mas, and find your seats. Be sure to leave an anonymous unsent voice mail in our Unsent Phone Booth!
7pm: Show starts
8pm: 15 min intermission - Visit the unsent phone booth, contribute to the altar, and take care of yourself.
9pm: Show ends, Kirtan begins
Sarah Naomi will lead us in a Kirtan, an ancient devotional singing practice. Drawing from their gospel roots, Sarah Naomi weaves soulful, heart-centered song as a way to move and cleanse energy in the body.
9:15: We End - We will do our best to end on time, but we'll be in the flow so please plan accordingly.
100% of ticket proceeds benefit Unsent shows and workshops. If ticket price is a barrier, please email Britt at unsentshow@gmail.com so we can get you in that door.
Thanks to our Community Partners for bringing this show to life: Beth Leyba of Hasta La Muerte, Sarah Naomi of Align With Purpose and Mariah Bottomly of Sacred Expansion Wellness.
Note - our shows can feature stories that can be emotionally charged and triggering for some community members. We always encourage you to take good care of yourself at Unsent. This is a grown up space. Please refrain from talking during the shares, and if you need to leave, please leave quietly. Thank you for your support in keeping Unsent a safe and sacred space for readers and audience members alike. We love you.
